The total cost is $300.00,  you will receive proofs of all pictures taken, a CD of all prints.  There is no separate sitting fee and no hidden costs. 

Now, don't think that you will have to sit there for 50 shots of all the family.  I wouldn't even want to do that!  I would take several shots of the whole familiy to get a "good" one and then you can change around.  For example, how about just a husband and wife shot?  You know it's probably been a while since you've had one!  Then you could get a group shot of the kids.   You can get individual shots of each child as well.  You can even have a picture with the family pet if you want!  The 50 pictures are of your choosing so you can change them around however you'd like.  You know....you can even get an alone picture yourself.  You know your spouse would probably LOVE a picture of just you.  (sorry guys, I know this is not your favorite!)
